5 Days Through Java Volcanic Landscapes

Pick-up in Surabaya

• We will pick you up from either Surabaya Airport or Surabaya Train Station.
• Once everyone has arrived, we’ll begin our journey to Mount Bromo.

Transfer to Bromo (Approx. 2 Hours)

• Enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive through the countryside as we head toward the hotel near Mount Bromo.

Hotel Check-in & Free Time

• Upon arrival, we’ll check in at the hotel and settle in.
• After checking in, you’ll have time to explore the surrounding area at your own pace.
• You can take a walk around the village, enjoy the cool mountain air, and capture some beautiful sunset views.

Rest & Prepare for the Sunrise Adventure

• After exploring, take time to rest and recharge, as we have an early start for the Bromo sunrise tour the next morning!

2:00 AM – Meeting & Departure for Bromo Sunrise

• Gather at the designated meeting point and hop into a 4x4 Jeep for an exciting drive to one of the best sunrise viewpoints.
• The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, offering scenic views along the way.

3:00 AM – Hike to the Sunrise Point

• From the parking area, we’ll take a 20-minute uphill trek to reach the sunrise viewpoint.
• Get ready to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Mount Bromo, with panoramic views of the surrounding volcanic landscape.

6:00 AM – Explore Bromo’s Crater & Sand Dunes

• After sunrise, we’ll descend to the Sea of Sand (Pasir Berbisik) and make our way to the Bromo Crater.
• The crater exploration will take around 1 hour, where you can walk or take a horse ride to the crater rim for a closer look at the smoking volcano.

8:30 AM – Return to Hotel

• Head back to the hotel to freshen up, shower, and pack your bags for the next adventure.

10:00 AM – Madakaripura Waterfall Exploration

• Depart for Madakaripura Waterfall, a hidden gem surrounded by lush greenery and towering cliffs.
• The visit includes a short trek through a river to reach the spectacular falls, so be prepared to get a little wet!

12:30 PM – Journey to Banyuwangi

• After the waterfall, we’ll hit the road for a 5-hour drive to our next destination, Banyuwangi.
• Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic countryside along the way.

8:00 AM – Breakfast at the Hotel

• Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before heading out for an immersive walking tour.

9:00 AM – Walking Tour Through Villages & Farms

• We’ll embark on a scenic walking tour through the local villages and surrounding farmland. Along the way, you’ll experience:

Lush rice fields – A glimpse into traditional farming life.

Pine tree forests – Walk through a serene, shaded forest.

Rivers & streams – Enjoy the sound of flowing water as we cross small rivers.

Wildlife spotting – Keep an eye out for playful monkeys and other local wildlife.

12:00 PM – Arrival at Sendang Seruni Spring Water

• Our walk will lead us to Sendang Seruni, a beautiful natural spring with crystal-clear water.
• Here, we will spend the rest of the day swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

4:00 PM – Leisure Time & Return to the Hotel

• After a refreshing day in the spring, we’ll make our way back to the hotel.
• Enjoy a relaxed evening, taking in the beautiful mountain views.

1:00 AM – Depart for Kawah Ijen Hike

• We will leave the hotel early for the Kawah Ijen trek.
• A 40-minute car ride will take us to the starting point of the hike.

2:00 AM – Registration & Start of Hike

• After completing the registration process, we’ll begin our 2-hour ascent to the summit of Kawah Ijen.

4:00 AM – Blue Fire Phenomenon

• Once we reach the top, we’ll descend for about 30 minutes to witness the mesmerizing Blue Fire, a natural phenomenon unique to a few places in the world.

5:00 AM – Sunrise at Kawah Ijen Summit

• After experiencing the Blue Fire, we’ll hike back up to the summit to catch the stunning sunrise over the crater lake.
• Enjoy breathtaking views of the turquoise acidic lake and the surrounding volcanic landscape.

7:30 AM – Descent & Return to Hotel

• The descent to the parking lot will take around 30 minutes.
• From there, we’ll drive back to the hotel for a well-deserved breakfast and rest.

3:00 PM – Traditional Osing Dance Class

• In the afternoon, we’ll gather for a traditional Osing dance class, a beautiful cultural experience.
• The dance class will last approximately 1.5 hours, where you’ll learn the graceful movements of this local art form.

6:00 PM – Sunset Dinner at Pantai Boom

• After the dance class, we’ll head to Pantai Boom Beach for a relaxing sunset dinner by the sea.
• Enjoy delicious local cuisine while watching the sunset over the ocean.

9:00 AM – Breakfast & Closing Remarks

• Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the hotel, reflecting on the amazing adventures from the past few days.
• A final gathering for a farewell speech and to share experiences before departure.

10:00 AM – End of Tour & Departure

• The tour officially comes to an end.
• We’ll assist with any transportation arrangements if needed (drop-off to airport/train station available upon request).
