Intinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Surabaya and Travel to Bromo
Welcome to your adventure! Upon arrival, our team will greet you at one of the pick-up points in Surabaya. Then we embark on a scenic 2 hour drive through the countryside as we head toward our hotel near Mount Bromo. After checking in, you’ll have time to explore the surrounding area at your own pace. After exploring, take time to rest and recharge, as we have an early start for the Bromo sunrise tour the next morning!
Day 2 : Mount Bromo & Madakaripura Waterfall Adventure
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure to one of Indonesia’s most iconic landscapes — Mount Bromo. We will take a 4×4 jeep for an exciting drive to one of the best sunrise viewpoints. As the first light breaks the horizon, witness the breathtaking sunrise over Mount Bromo. It’s a moment that will take your breath away. After sunrise, descend into the otherworldly Sea of Sand (Pasir Berbisik) — a vast expanse of volcanic ash that feels like stepping onto another planet. Walk or ride across the windswept plain toward the base of Bromo. Then, take on the final climb: up the crater ridge, where you’ll stand at the edge of an active volcano, peering into its steaming heart. Next, we’ll trek through river paths to reach the hidden sanctuary of Madakaripura — a sacred waterfall enclosed by cliffs and jungle mist. After the waterfall, we’ll hit the road for a 5-hour drive to our next destination, Banyuwangi.
Day 3 : Village & Nature Walking Tour + Relax at Natural Spring
We’ll embark on a scenic walking tour through the local villages and surrounding farmland. Our walk will lead us to a beautiful natural spring with crystal-clear water. We will spend the rest of the day here: swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Day 4 : Kawah Ijen Blue Fire Hike & Cultural Experience
Set off in the stillness of the night toward Mount Ijen, one of Indonesia’s most extraordinary volcanic wonders. Under a star-filled sky, begin your early morning hike up the mountain trail, guided by the cool mountain air and the distant glow of something spectacular ahead. As you reach the crater rim, descend carefully int o the heart of the volcano to witness the legendary Blue Fire — a natural phenomenon found in only a few places on Earth. After experiencing this rare wonder, climb back to the summit just in time for sunrise. As the sun rises over the horizon, it reveals breathtaking views of the turquoise acid lake, the smoky crater, and the rolling highlands beyond. We’ll drive back to the hotel for a well-deserved breakfast and rest. In the afternoon, we’ll gather for a traditional Osing dance class, a beautiful cultural experience. After the dance class, we’ll head for a relaxing sunset dinner by the sea, enjoying delicious local cuisine while watching th e sunset over the ocean.
Day 5 : Farewell & Departure
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the hotel, reflecting on the amazing adventures from the past few days. This is our final gathering for a farewell speech and to share experiences before departure.
